柯文达,在微软工作了12年,现任微软亚太区全球技术支持中心总经理,管理着中国大陆、香港及台湾超过500名员工。目前主要职责包括统管对亚洲地区(不
包括日本)微软客户及合作伙伴的技术支持,以及对美国及欧洲等地的网上支持。他领导微软大中华区的技术支持工作,包括商业战略制订、客户满意度提高、商业
计划和预算编制以及人员管理规划,并与Redmond总部及其他地区的负责技术支持的同仁协同工作。
柯文达在微软的职业生涯始于1993年8月,任职大中华区财务总监,常驻台北。1994年4月,公司提升柯文达接管整个财务及行政职能工作(财务会计,人力
资源,运营,信息技术(ITG)及总务行政)。并分别于1997年及1999年被提升为财务会计总监及高级财务会计总监。
2000 年6月,柯文达调任微软台湾小型机构(SORG)总监,负责市场通路(分销与经销)、硬件与零售部门以及中小型企业客户的管理。2001年4月,他接任了
微软亚太及日本地区咨询管理总监一职,常驻日本东京。工作职责包括总管分布于5个研究开发中心14国共45处的技术设施,管理亚洲地区超过180名员工。
在加入微软之前,柯文达曾就职于安达信全球机构。早先任职安达信SBU商务咨询部经理及部门主管,并于1992年6月出任安达信顾问(现埃森哲)系统集成部
经理,在与财务/会计及营运相关的管理信息系统的挑选及建立上有着丰富的经验。在此之前,他曾在一纽约私立实业公司内工作5年。
Wing-Dar Ker, a veteran of more than twelve years with Microsoft, is the
General Manager of Global Technical Support Center, Greater China Region of
Microsoft. His current responsibilities include overseeing the customers and
partner technical support for Asia (exclude Japan) and web support for America
and EMEA regions. He provides leadership and direction for the Greater China
operations including strategic business initiatives, customer satisfaction
improvements, business and budget planning, and people management plans. He
also works collaboratively with his counterparts in Redmond and across the
regions. He manages more than 500 staff in China, HK and Taiwan.
Wing started his career with Microsoft as the Controller for the Greater China
Region based in Taipei, Taiwan in August 1993. He was promoted to take over all
Finance & Administration (F&A) functions (Accounting/Finance, Human
Resource, Operation, ITG and General Affairs) in April 1994, and was promoted
twice to F&A Director in July 1997 and Sr. F&A Director in July 1999
respectively.
Wing then took up opportunities as Director of Small Organizations (SORG) in
the Taiwan office in June 2000, managing channel (distributors and resellers),
Hardware and Retail Division and Small and Medium Enterprise customers segment,
and then as the company’s Regional IT Director based in Tokyo, Japan in April
2001, looking after Asia Pacific and Japan, overseeing the technology
infrastructure of over 45 locations in 14 countries and 5 R&D Centers, and
management of more than 180 staff across Asia.
Prior to joining Microsoft, Wing was with Arthur Andersen Worldwide
Organization. He was the Manager-in-charge and Group Head of Business Systems
Consulting group of Arthur Andersen SBU before he transferred to Andersen
Consulting (now renamed as Accenture) in June 1992. He was the manager in AC’s
System Integration Division with extensive experience in the selection and
implementation of financial, accounting and operational related management
information systems. He had worked in the private industries in New York City
for more than five years prior to joining AA/AC.
